With the successful launch of Realme 6 and 6 Pro, Realme has officially announced a new addition in the Realme 6 series, Realme 6i. Both Realme 6 and 6 Pro packed impressive features under the hood. Looking at the specs sheets, Realme 6i is a small brother of Realme 6 and 6 Pro. Keeping the design aesthetics kind of similar they have altered the features here and there on this device to make it more affordable to a large number of people. It will be released by the end of this month. The price of Realme 6i in Nepal is expected to be under Rs 28,000.
Design and Display
Realme 6i houses a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display having 720 x 1600 pixels. With an 82.3% screen-to-body ratio, it has a punch-hole display with a sleek bezel on the bottom, similar to Realme 6 and 6 Pro. Talking about the device aesthetics, this device has volume rockers placed on the left edge and the power button is placed on the right edge of the device. Luckily 3.5mm headphone jack is present on the bottom edge of this device. We have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
48MP Quad Rear Camera Setup
Realme 6i rocks a total of 5 camera lenses. For the selfie camera, we have a 16MP camera lens. The waterdrop notch on the display confines the selfie lens. With the selfie camera, you can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps.
For the rear camera, we have a quad camera setup. This consists of 48MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) camera lenses. With these lenses, you can shoot videos 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps, gyro-EIS. The triple rear camera setup is aligned vertically on the top-left corner. Besides the lenses lies an LED flash.
Performance, Software, and Battery
Powering the Realme 6i Mediatek Helio G80 (12nm) is coupled with 3GB and 4GB of RAM. For the GPU we have Mali-G52 MC2. It runs on Android 10.0 alongside RealmeUI. On the memory department, we have only a 3/64GB and 4/128 GB variant available. No need to worry about the internal storage as it is expandable using microSDXC. Monstrous 5000mAh battery fuels this device. We have standard 18-watt charging. For the charging port, we have the standard USB Type-C. Features like Accelerometer, proximity, compass and many more are available as well. White Milk and Green Tea are the available color variants.
