Vivo Z6 5G set to launch with Snapdragon 765G on February 29

Vivo, one of the popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is getting ready for a new launch in its home country. The phone in question is the successor of Vivo Z5 from the last year and is named Vivo Z6 5G. The launch is scheduled for the end of the month, on February 29, 2020. Vivo Z6 5G price in Nepal is expected to be NPR 35,000.

Design and Display

Starting from the front, the Vivo Z6 5G is expected to sport a 6.57 inch IPS LCD display having the resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the aspect ratio of 20:9 and pixel count of ~401 PPI. The display will feature a punch-hole on the top right side of the screen to house a selfie camera. The back of the phone is expected to have Gorilla Glass protection which remains unspecified right now and will have a gradient look similar to Vivo Z5 as well as a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Cameras

For the optics department, Vivo Z6 5G is expected to feature a quad-camera setup. The primary sensor in the device is rumored to be a 48 MP, f/1.8, wide-angle lens accompanied by an 8 MP, f/2.2 ultra-wide snapper, 2 MP, f/2.4 macro lens and a 2 MP, f/2.4 depth sensor. Back cameras of the phone, will be able to record videos of 2160p@30fps and 1080p@30fps. In the front, housed under the punch-hole cutout, is a 16 MP, f/2.0, wide sensor for taking selfies and video calls. The selfie snapper will be capable of recording videos of 1080p@30fps.

Performance, Software, and Battery

Vivo Z6 5G is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G processor. And for the memory, the device will have 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of internal storage. Users can expand the available memory via a dedicated microSDXC card slot. For graphics, Adreno 620 is expected and the device will run on Android 10 out of the box.

The device is also expected to come with an impressive 5000 mAh battery supporting 44W fast charging. Additional features of the phone include USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and 5G support out of the box.
