Design and Display

Huawei Y7p houses a 6.39-inch IPS LCD display having 720 x 1560 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. With 82.4% screen-to-body ratio, Huawei Y7p has a punch-hole display with a sleek bezel on the bottom.

Talking about the device aesthetics, Huawei Y7p has both the power button and the volume rockers placed on the right edge of the device. Luckily 3.5mm headphone jack still hangs around and is placed on the bottom edge. We have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Y7p is has a plastic body bounded with a plastic frame. The left-aligned punch-hole is the smallest blind hole, measuring at just 4.5mm wide.

48MP Triple Rear Camera Setup

On the camera department, Huawei Y7p rocks a total of four camera lenses. For the selfie camera, we have an 8MP camera lens. It confined the left aligned punch-hole. With the selfie camera, you can shoot videos 1080p@30fps.

For the rear camera, we have a triple camera setup. This consists of 48MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (depth) lenses. With the triple rear camera setup, you can shoot videos 1080p@30fps. The rear camera is aligned vertically on the top-left corner. Beneath the lenses lies an LED flash. Here the wide lens will capture your precious moments in true, native high resolution, ultrawide lens will give you 120 degrees field of view for scenic landscape shots, stunning group photos, and wide-angle video capture. The 2MP depth lenses will assist the camera for simulating realistic shallow depth-of-field effects.

Performance, Software, and Battery

Powering the Huawei Y7p HiSilicon Kirin 710F (12nm) is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. For the GPU we have Mali-G51 MP4. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and Huawei Mobile Services alongside EMUI 9.1.

For the memory, we have only a 64GB variant available. No need to worry about the internal storage as it is expandable using microSDXC. It can be expanded up to 512GB.
