Apple is one of the richest companies in the world. Apple is known for its best hardware, software, its own OS with high-security measures and also the expensive price tag that comes with it. The most famous product of Apple is the iPhone which is also one of the most expensive. So, to reduce this expensive price tag and to make iPhones affordable to everyone, Apple had launched iPhone SE and iPhone XR. iPhone SE was launched in the month of March 2016 whereas iPhone XR was launched in October 2018. Now the company is planning to launch its successor which is named iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9 in early 2020 or Mid 2020.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has detailed that the iPhone SE2 could feature a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display which won’t support 3D Touch support but will integrate Touch ID on the home button. It’s still a mystery that this display will have a notch like iPhone X or not. He also suggested that SE 2 will be equipped with Apple’s latest A13 Bionic chipset (Just like iPhone 11), a quad-core processor and a 3GB RAM which will run in the latest iOS 13 after it launches. So, we can expect some really good performance from this device. iPhone SE 2 will have a similar design like iPhone 8 but will feature only a single rear camera at the back just the iPhone XR.
According to our resources, we could see a glass back in the SE 2 and also could support wireless charging which will be a real feature to add on a budget iPhone SE 2 but no Face ID to unlock this device. The iPhone SE 2 is rumored to offer two storage variants; 3GB/64GB and 3GB/128GB and also the rumored color options are Space Gray, Silver, and Red.

When iPhone SE 2 will arrive in the market in 2020, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the price could start at USD $399 for a 3GB/64GB variant which is roughly Rs. 46,000 in Nepal. However, there are many smartphones in Nepal’s market under Rs. 40,000 and under Rs. 50,000. The price of iPhone SE 2 is really satisfying for what the iPhone SE 2 is offering, but we will have to wait until early 2020 or Mid 2020 to be sure and see what it really offers at its price.
