Xiaomi has officially confirmed that its successful sub-brand Redmi is coming with a brand new smartphone that would offer a flagship experience at an affordable price. This brand new flagship smartphone will be a successor to its fellow Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. Few of the specifications for this smartphone have already been confirmed and its name will be Xiaomi Redmi K30.
The General Manager of Redmi, Mr. Lu Weibing has posted two posters of Redmi K30 which confirms its two specifications which are also its highlights. The first and foremost highlight will be its 5G capability just like its fellow Mi 9 Pro flagship smartphone which was previously launched by the company Xiaomi. This flagship smartphone will not only one but will support NSA + SA dual-mode 5G. It is rumored that Qualcomm is working on its fifth generation chipsets which will support 5G and will be to power mid-range affordable devices. Qualcomm will arrive with its new Snapdragon 8 series, 7 Series and 6 series in 2020 and it seems most likely that Redmi will integrate one of these chipsets into K30.

The next confirmed specification of Xiaomi Redmi K30 will be its new dual hole-punch contained display which will house its dual front camera setup just like we all saw on Samsung Galaxy S10+. The punch hole will be placed on the top right side of the display and will have an elongated pill-shaped design.
Redmi K30 could be launched in two connectivity variants; one that will support only 4G and others that will support the dual NSA + SA dual-mode 5G.
