Announced back in May 2019, Redmi (by Xiaomi) released its flagship model named as Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. Both phones were launched in the month of June 2019 in China and in Nepal but were only available to purchase since August 2019. The Xiaomi Redmi K20 price in Nepal is set at Rs. 39,999 for 6GB/128GB and to celebrate this Valentine, Mi Nepal has dropped the price of Redmi K20 Pro by Rs 3000, making the new price for the K20 Pro Rs 46,999 (8/256GB).
Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro: Overview
The Redmi K20 Pro model which was launched in China is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship processor of Snapdragon 855 SoC accelerated by Adreno 640 GPU. Along with this, this mobile is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. Redmi K20 Pro measures 6.39 inches super AMOLED display(1080×2340, full HD+) with 91.6% screen-to-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio shielded with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The phone is packed with a huge non-removable Li-Po 4000mAh battery supported by 27W fast charging and has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi K20 Pro exhibits a triple camera setup consisting of a 48 MP, f/1.8-wide Sony IMX 586 main camera which is combined with an 8MP, f/2.4 aperture-telephoto camera, and 13 MP, f/2.4 aperture -an ultrawide camera which all works together to create professional-looking photos with minimal effort.
With an aim to stand high among full-screen smartphone, the Redmi K20 Pro is modeled with a motorized pop-up 20MP selfie camera of f/2.2 aperture, which supports 1080 px HDR videos at 30fps. This device runs on MIUI 11, powered by Android 9 Pie and slated to receive MIUI 12 update in the first batch.

The device is marketed as Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro in Russia. Xiaomi has also claimed that the Redmi K20 Pro has a higher AnTuTu score when compared to OnePlus 7 Pro! This means the main competition of this smartphone will be with OnePlus 7 Pro.
Xiaomi Redmi K20: Overview
The Redmi K20 comes with a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x2340p which also has Gorilla Glass 5-layer protection and in-display fingerprint sensor. The frame is built with aluminum and the rear panel of the phone is also protected with Gorilla Glass 5. This phone is equipped with Snapdragon 730 chipset, octa-core processor and Adreno 618 GPU which all runs on Android 9.0 Pie, upgradable to Android 10.0 skinned with MIUI 11. All this is supported by a 6GB or 8GB RAM with an internal storage of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB with no expandable options.
Redmi K20 packs Li-Po 4000mAh battery supported by an 18W Fast charging support. This battery can easily last through a day in normal use and during heavy usage, if the juice drains, you can refill it at a decent speed via its 18W Fast charging support.
Xiaomi Redmi K20 sports triple rear camera setup; 48MP, f/1.8 main sensor + 8MMP, f/2.4 telephoto lens + 13MP, f/2.4 ultra-wide lens supported by a Dual-flash. This setup can also record videos in 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/120/240fps, and in 1080p@960fps. At the front, K20 features a 20MP motorized pop-up camera which can record videos in 1080p@30fps and produce really high quality with good detail selfies.

Other storage variants of the phone are not available in Nepal and in the future, its uncertain.
