Player’s Unknown Battle Ground better known as PUBG is one of the, if not the, best battle royale game. With its release, this game changed the face of mobile gaming forever. PUBG Mobile was still upholding its hype but it faced a big backlash a few months back. India is undoubtedly the epicenter for PUBG Crop. It has one of the highest user bases. But due to data and privacy issues plus tension between India and China, it was banned in India. As per the latest update from the officials, PUBG Mobile is all set to re-launch in India.

PUBG Crop. Seems to have finally fixed the issues. The game will be returning to India as a new version dubbed ‘PUBG Mobile India’. This version primarily focuses on Indian users providing a secure and healthy gameplay environment. The pre-registrations have already begun on the game-sharing community Tap Tap. There will be the 100-player classic battle royale, payload mode, 4v4 team deathmatch, and zombie modes.
“Various aspects of the game will be customized for Indian gamers, such as the game now being set in a virtual simulation training ground, (and) new characters automatically starting clothed, and green hit effects to reflect the virtual nature of the game,” said officials on Times of India.
The return of the game is not the only thing as PUBG Corp’s parent company KRAFTON Inc. will invest 100 million dollars in India. They will be promoting local video games, esports, entertainment, and IT industries. This is indeed a huge opportunity for the gaming community. This company also confirmed that they will be hosting India-exclusive esports events featuring large-scale tournaments with insane rewards.
