Honor, one of the notable players in the game, has announced a couple of mid-range devices on this lockdown period, Honor announced Honor Play 4T, Honor Play 4T Pro, Honor 30S, Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro. Now Honor has officially announced Honor Play4 5G and Honor Play4 Pro 5G. These devices come with great internals and features. Design and Display
Honor Play 4 flaunts 6.81-inch IPS LCD having 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has an approximately 83.9% screen-to-body ratio. Looking at the device aesthetics the volume rockers are on the right edge of the device. Beneath the volume rockers lies a fingerprint sensor. On the top, we have a left-centered hole-punch cutout and a visible chin on the bottom. Nowadays it looks as if only the mid-range smartphones are coming with a headphone jack. Honor Play 4 has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom edge.
64MP Rear Quad Camera
Honor Play 4 rocks a total of five camera lenses. For the selfie camera, we have a 16MP lens. The punch-hole cutout confines the selfie lens. With the selfie lens, you can shoot videos 1080p@30fps.
For the rear camera, we have a quad lens setup. This consists of 64MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) lenses. The MediaTek MT6873 Dimensity 800 5G (7 nm) powers Honor Play4. It is coupled with octa-core CPU and Mali-G57MP4 as GPU. It runs on Android 10.0 with Magic UI 3.0. However, there are no Google Play Services.
Only 8/128 GB variant is available for this device. But not to worry as the internal storage as it is expandable using microSDXC. The 4300mAh battery fuels this device.
