Huawei Nova 5 Series: flagship & mid-range mobiles series with quad-camera setup

The Nova series was recently announced in China, and here in this post, we have discussed Huawei Nova 5i, 5 & 5 Pro price in Nepal and specs.

We have seen some beautiful smartphones from Huawei in 2019 and it has again come with Nova 5 series. This series consists of two flagships-like Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro smartphones and one mid-range Nova 5i, which is also the rebranded form of last year’s P20 lite. 

Huawei Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro: Design, Display, and Specs

The Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro is powered by 7nm Kirin 810 chipset and 7nm Kirin 980 Flagship chipset respectively which are accelerated by Mali-G52 MP6 and Mali-G76 MP10 GPU respectively. The Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro, both measures 6.39 inches OLED display(1080×2340, full HD+) with 81.5% screen-to-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. 

The Huawei Nova 5 is integrated with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory whereas Nova 5 Pro is available in two models, integration of 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB. However, both the mobiles support external microSD card slot. Both the phones are blessed with a huge non-renewable Li-Po 3500 mAh battery which supports 40W fast charging. Both have an under-display fingerprint reader. The Android 9 Pie lies on top of EMUI 9.1 both the devices. 

Both Huawei Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro are equipped with a quad rare camera setup consisting a 48 MP, f/1.8-wide Sony IMX 586 main camera which is accompanied with a 16MP, f/2.4 aperture-superwide camera, and two 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture, one macro lens and another for adding depth effects. Both, Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro has 32 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 apertures which help to click selfies even in low light.

Huawei Nova 5i: Design, Display, and Specs

The Nova 5i is powered by 12nm Kirin 710F chipset which is accelerated by Mali-G51 MP4. The Nova 5i measures 6.4 inches LCD display(1080×2310, full HD+) with 84.0% screen-to-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. 

This mobile is available in two models, integration of 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB which is expandable up to 256GB with an external microSD card. Both the phones are blessed with a huge non-renewable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery which supports 10W fast charging. It has a rare-mounted fingerprint reader. The Android 9 Pie lies on top of EMUI 9.1  in this device. 

The Huawei Nova 5i is fitted with a quad rear-camera setup consisting a 24 MP, f/1.8-wide Sony IMX 586 main camera which is accompanied with a 16MP, f/2.4 aperture-superwide camera, and two 2 MP, f/2.4 aperture, one macro lens and another for adding depth effects. Nova 5i’s most distinctive feature from the rest of the two Nova 5 & 5 Pro is, it has a punch-hole 24 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the left.

Huawei Nova 5 series: Price and Availability in Nepal

The Huawei Nova 5 is scheduled to be released on July 20 while Nova 5 Pro and Nova 5i have been released on June 28. However, the price of phones; Nova 5i, 5 & 5 Pro have already been announced in China, but they are yet to be announced in other countries.

We’ve listed the expected for Nova 5i, 5 and 5 Pro price in Nepal. While predicting the prices, we do a general conversion to NPR of the announced (USD/CNY) price, add customs and duty to it.
