Lava Z71: Overview
Lava Z71 comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720x1520p. This display also houses a water-drop notch where its front camera resides and the bezels around the display are quite noticeable at the sides but pretty thick at the bottom. Power button and volume rockers are placed at the right edge whereas a micro USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm traditional headphone jack at the bottom edge.
At the back we can see a dual-camera setup; 13MP + 2MP supported by an LED flash all aligned vertically at the top left corner of the phone. A finger-print sensor mount is placed in the middle and just below is the company logo placed horizontally.
A 5MP selfie shooter is also housed within the water-drop notch which has features like AI Photo Studio and AR Stickers. 6 Level AI Photo Studio, Professional Mode and AR Stickers are the features integrated into Dual-rear camera setup which is also able to record videos in 1080p.
Z71 is equipped with Helio A22 chipset, Quad-core processor, PowerVR GE-class GPU and 2GB of RAM to deliver a performance that all runs on Android 9.0 Pie skinned with Lava’s own Star OS 5.1. You also get 32GB internal storage with an option to expand up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Unfortunately, this is the only storage variant you get; 2GB/256GB.
