Motorola is one of the companies that define making solid, powerful and beautiful smartphones in a budget segment. Now with competitors like Xiaomi, RealMe, and Oppo who all target consumers from the budget segment have made Motorola’s life hard. Now to deal with all of these Motorola has launched a new phone named Motorola One Action in August 2019. Motorola One Action brings a good build quality, a great storage option and a good camera setup for its price. In India, this smartphone is available in online stores and other stores for just Rs. 11,999. As per our speculations, Motorola One Action price in Nepal could be Rs. 19,500 or around it.

Display and Design
Motorola One Action has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080×2520 pixels. The display is quite good for its price. The display is quite bright, vibrant and sharp which gives the user good experience when gaming, doing tasks, recording videos or watching videos. The display holds a hole-punch where its front camera sits.

The design of the Motorola One Action is very similar to the design of Motorola One Vision. The only difference we get to see is an added camera on the rear camera setup. The design of the Motorola One Action is quite solid and beautiful at the same time. The backside of the phone has a really good finishing and looks quite good. We also can see a triple camera setup on the backside of the phone aligned vertically on the top-left side of the phone supported by a Dual LED Flash. In the middle, we also can find the company logo which also is its fingerprint mount sensor and an android one sign on the middle bottom side. The phone is also splash resistant.
Camera
We can find a triple camera setup (Just like Honor 20 Lite) in this phone each with; 12MP as main camera sensor, 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP depth field sensor all supported by a Dual LED Flash. This setup produces good images that worth’s the price but there are still more budget phones in the market with better camera integration. The photos that this setup produces are quite good, well balanced and good saturated but disappoint a little on wide-angle mode where it can’t take still photos accurately. This setup can also record videos in 4K at 30fps and in 1080p at 60fps.

For the front camera department, the Motorola One Action features a 12 MP camera that rests on the hole-punch. This setup delivers an average performance and an average experience. This setup is also able to shoot videos in 1080p at 30fps. Overall the camera experience on this phone is quite good for the price.
Performance and Storage
To deliver performance, the Motorola One Action is equipped with 4GB RAM, Samsung’s Exynos 9609 chipset, octa-core processor and Mali-G72 MP3 as GPU for handling graphics and heavy tasks. To enhance user’s experience furthermore, Motorola One Action is integrated with Dolby Audio and Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic. All this runs on Android 9.0 which is upgradable to Android 10 because it is part of the Android One project. Motorola always provides a stock Android experience that users are very fond of.
Motorola One Action has only one storage variant in which it provides 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be furthermore expanded up to 512GB via MicroSD card slot.
Battery and connectivity
Motorola One Action is powered by a 3500mAh Li-Po battery which is relatively small but we can’t complain more because of its budget price. It also doesn’t support any kind of fast charging. The battery can’t last through a day which gives this smartphone a poor battery experience.
As for the connectivity, Motorola One Action comes with a Type-C reversible connector, USB on-the-go, traditional 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby audio, Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic and with all other common sensors found in a smartphone.

In India, this smartphone is available in online stores and other stores for just Rs. 11,999. As per our speculations, Motorola One Action price in Nepal could be Rs. 19,500 or around it. However, there are various phones under Rs 20,000 in Nepal’s market which worths the price. In India it is available in only two color variants; pearl White and Denim Blue but also has a third color option abroad named Aqua Teal. Let’s hope the Motorola Action One will soon be available in Nepal’s market.
