The competition is building day by day and every brand is introducing a new smartphone one after another. Lenovo has also entered this race by launching a new phone named Lenovo Z6 Pro in April 2019. Even though Lenovo designs its own phones, Motorola is the company that assembles and manufactures Lenovo phones. Lenovo Z6 Pro is a flagship that is not as expensive as well as not a budget phone; we can say that it is a mid-range phone. Display and Design

Lenovo Z6 Pro has a Super AMOLED display which is really good when it comes to contract and color grading. It is 6.39-inches and 1080×2340 in resolution. The display also holds a tear-drop notch which holds its 32MP camera sensor used for selfies. The Super AMOLED display also holds an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is nearly bezel-less and the Super AMOLED display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass which is quite solid and does the job of protecting display from scratches and marks really well.

Talking about the design, Lenovo Z6 Pro has an eye-catching design because of its glossy and premium type finish. Its front and back both sides are layered with glass which protects it from scratches and marks. At the top left corner in the backside, we can see a quad-camera setup all aligned vertically which is also supported by an LED flash. Overall the design of Z6 pro is very appealing and nice to have on a smartphone.

For the camera department, Lenovo Z6 Pro has a quad-camera setup for the rear camera which makes it great. The quad setup consists of 4 camera sensors; 48MP with f/1.8 as the main sensor, 8MP with f/2.4 for telephoto, 16MP with f/2.2 for ultra-wide-angle and 2MP with f/1.8 for the dedicated video camera. This setup results in great quality photos at both day and night. This setup is supported by an LED flash that emits bright light and is perfect at night time. As for the front camera, Lenovo Z6 has a 32MP camera at the front which is housed in a tear-drop notch located at the front display. The quality of the photos this 32MP camera sensor produces is really good. This smartphone can record videos in 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 120fps and the front camera can record videos in 1080p at 30fps which is more than enough for many consumers. Overall the performance of Lenovo Z6 Pro’s camera is really good at both day and night time.

Performance and Storage

To deliver performance, Lenovo Z6 is equipped Snapdragon 855 chipset and an Octa-core processor with a 6GB to 12GB of RAM. Adreno 640 is there to take care of the gaming and high graphics work and the experience is further enhanced by Dolby Atmos Sound and Liquid cooling system. It uses Android Pie 9.0 as its operating system which is skinned with ZUI 11.1 which is still poor and needs a lot of work. ZUI 11.1 still feels very underwhelming and not so user-friendly. Lenovo Z6 Pro can deliver a good performance with these features in it and also can also handle gaming really well.

For storage, it is packed with 128GB of internal storage up to 512GB which can be furthermore extended to 1TB via microSD card slot. Lenovo Z6 Pro comes in 4 variants; 6GB/128GB RAM, 8GB/128GB RAM, 8GB/256GB RAM and 12GB/512GB RAM. So, there is nothing to worry about storage and performance in Lenovo Z6 Pro.

Lenovo Z6 Pro is backed up by a 4000 mAh battery which supports 18W Fast battery charging. The company claims that the battery’s juice can last through a whole day. It has a Type-C port which is nowadays seen as the best choice to implement. It also includes many sensors but does not have NFC which is a drawback for this device.

Lenovo Z6 Pro’s price in India starts at INRS. 31,499. The price was updated in October so as per our calculations we expect Lenovo Z6 Pro price in Nepal could be under NRS. 55,000. It will come in three color options; Red, Blue, and Green. We hope it will come to Nepal’s market soon with a bang.
