Update: The Huawei Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro is officially released alongside Huawei Watch GT 2. Check out the updates below:
Three days. Yes, three days is what we have until the latest and greatest flagship of 2019 comes from Huawei— Mate 30 Series (Mate 30 Lite, Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro). The release is scheduled to happen on Sep 19 at an event in Munich, Germany.
The new leaks for the Mate 30 series suggest the device to go for the circular-camera module with quad-camera setup, where this unique camera design is being referred to as an “Oreo” design. The leaked pictures clearly reveal there are four cameras inside the circular-module and dual-LED outside on the top-left corner.
As per the rumors, the Mate 30 Pro will be powered by in-house Kirin 990 SoC and fueled by 4500mAh battery with 40W Huawei SuperCharge wired fast charging and 27W SuperWireless charging support. And for the memory, the Mate 30 Pro will be in 8/12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The Mate 30 Pro will come with Android 10 out of the box, EMUI 10 skin atop, and will be IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance.
For a while, there has been too many renders and leaks and designs regarding the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, but little did we know about the Porsche variant. Until yesterday when the company itself teased the upcoming Porsche Design Mate 30 RS on Twitter. And now we have got a few leaked renders revealing its design.

The renders for the Porsche variant came from the well-known @evleaks. The leaks show off the device with a curved front display and back covered in red and black leather. Unlike the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, the Mate 30 RS is likely to have quad-camera setup with almost similar specs to Mate 30 Pro. Except for some bumped up features such as increased RAM, storage and of course, pricing.
As far as the color variants, the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design is expected to come into color options; Black and Red.
