Nokia 3.4 officially available in Nepal and Nokia 2.4 expected soon to arrive as well

Nokia is undoubtedly one of the OGs in the smartphone game. This smartphone company was able to establish itself as one of the best companies. As this company almost ran out not being able to cope up with the current market, but that’s not the case anymore. In recent years Nokia has been working their butt off to something in the table. And to be honest they pacing up. This company has successfully put numerous devices in the market. In the context of Nepal devices from Nokia like Nokia 7.2, Nokia 2.3, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 2.2, and many more devices are available for purchase. Now Nokia has officially released Nokia 3.4, a new budget device. Nokia 2.4 is also set to arrive here soon. The Nokia 3.4 price in Nepal is Rs 18,699 for the 3GB/64GB variant.

Design and Display

Nokia 3.4 houses 6.39-inch IPS LCD with 720 x 1560 pixels. It has approximately 81.9% screen-to-body ratio with an aspect ratio of 19:9:5 including 400 nits of typical brightness. Both the volume rockers and power button are on the right edge of the device.

On the left, we have a dedicated Google Assistant button. With a left-centered punch-hole display on the top, we have a slightly visible chin with a Nokia logo on the bottom. Hue props to Nokia for including a 3.5mm headphone jack in this device as well.

13MP Triple Rear Camera

Nokia 3.4 rocks a total of four camera lenses. For the selfie, we have a 5MP lens that is confined by the waterdrop notch. On the rear camera, there’s a triple-camera setup. This consists of 13 MP (Main lens) + 5MP (ultrawide)+ 2 MP (depth). With these lenses, you can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps. The triple rear camera setup is aligned in an oreo setup. Within the circular setup lies an LED flash.

Performance, Software, and Battery

Powering the Nokia 3.4 Qualcomm SM4250 Snapdragon 460 (11 nm) is coupled with 3/4GB of RAM. This is accompanied by an octa-core CPU  and Adreno 610 (GPU). This device operates on Android 10 (planned upgrade to Android 11).

It’s available in three storage variants, 3/32GB, 3/64GB, and 4/64GB. The internal storage is expandable using microSDXC having a dedicated slot. The standard 4000mAh battery fuels Nokia 3.4. For the charging port, we have standard USB Type C. It supports regular 10-watt charging. We do have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor beneath the rear camera module.

Design and Display

Nokia 2.4 houses 6.5-inch IPS LCD with 720 x 1600 pixels. It has approximately 80.6% screen-to-body ratio with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Talking about the device aesthetics both volume rockers and power button are on the right edge of the device.

On the left, we have a dedicated Google Assistant button. With a waterdrop notch display on the top, we have a slightly visible chin with a Nokia logo on the bottom. If you loved the 3.5mm headphone jack then this device serves you right. Similar to that of Nokia 2.3, this device also has a headphone jack on the top edge.

It is available in two storage variants, 2/32GB and 3/64GB. The internal storage is expandable using microSDXC. The massive 4500mAh battery fuels Nokia 2.3. For the charging port, we have micro-USB 2.0. This might throw you off but most of the budget devices do not come with USB Type C. We do have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor beneath the rear camera module.

Looking at the spec sheet of Nokia 2.4 you can clearly say that it is an upgraded version of Nokia 2.3.
