Oppo has announced a couple of devices during this pandemic. Some of them include Oppo Find X2 Lite, Oppo A92s, Reno Ace 2. Now Oppo is back with a brand new device, Oppo A52. Design and Display
Oppo A52 faults 6.5-inch LTPS IPS LCD having 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has an approximately 83.4% screen-to-body ratio and aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a punch-hole cutout on the top and visible chin on the bottom. The volume rockers are placed on the left and we have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right. Luckily we have 3.5mm headphones on the bottom alongside charging port and loudspeaker.
12MP Rear Quad Camera
Oppo A52 rocks a total of five camera lenses. For the selfie camera, it has a 16MP (wide) lens that is confined by the punch-hole cutout. But for the Chinese version, there’s an 8MP (wide) lens. With the 16MP selfie lens, one can shoot videos 1080p@30fps.
For the rear camera, Oppo A52 has a quad lens setup. This consists of 12MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth). With the 12MP quad lens, you can shoot videos 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps; gyro-EIS. The lenses are aligned in a rectangular setup. The LED flash lies within the lens setup.
Performance, Software, and Battery
The Qualcomm SM6125 Snapdragon 665 (11 nm) powers Oppo A52. The octa-core CPU alongside Adreno 610 as GPU accompanies the Snapdragon chipset. It runs on Android 10 alongside ColorOS 7.1.
This device is available in four different storage variants, 4/64GB, 4,128GB, 6/128GB, and 8/128GB. You don’t worry about the storage as it is expandable using a microSDXC card. For the battery, we have a massive 5000mAh power cell that fuels this device. It also supports 18-watt fast charging. For the charging port, we have the standard USB Type-C. Other features like accelerometer, proximity, compass, and many more are also available.
