Although Xiaomi has not confirmed on which flagship this technology will be featured. Redmi has gained a lot of hype with the introduction of the Note 8 and Note 9 series. The users are satisfied and pretty happy with the quality of products from this company. Especially with the Note 8 series here in Nepal as well, it has successfully grabbed the user’s attention. Now Redmi has introduced a new device in the Note 9 series, Redmi Note 9S. This is another great mid-range device in the series. Redmi Note 9S flaunts a 6.67-inch IPS LCD having 1080 x 2400 pixels. For protection, there’s Gorilla Glass 5. This device has an approximately 84.5% screen-to-body ratio with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Talking about the device aesthetics both the fingerprint sensor and the volume rockers are placed on the right edge of the device.
With a centered punch-hole cutout on the top, we have a slightly visible chin on the bottom. If you loved 3.5mm headphone jack then this device serves you right. As on the bottom edge, we have a headphone jack placed alongside the loudspeaker and the charging port.
48MP Rear Quad Camera Setup
Redmi Note 9S houses a total of 5 camera lenses. For the selfie, we have a 16MP lens. It is confined by the centered hole-punch. With the selfie lens, you can shoot videos 1080p@30/120fps. In the rear department, we have a quad-camera setup. This consists of 48MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 5MP (macro) + 2MP (depth). With this quad setup lenses, you can shoot videos 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, 720p@960fps, gyro-EIS. This setup is quite similar to that of Redmi Note 9 Pro.
The alignment of the rear camera module is done in a rectangular shape. It is similar to that of Note 9 Pro and 9 Pro Max. As seen on those devices, the quad lenses are aligned in a square box, and beneath lies an LED flash. The combination of lenses and an LED flash gives a rectangular outlet with a slight bump in quad lenses.
