Display and Design
Vivo Y15 comes with a 6.35-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1544 which also houses a water-drop notch. The display is the same as Y12. It is quite vibrant, has good contrast and is bright. It can give a good experience while watching videos and gaming. The display feels quite good for the price.

The design is also similar to Y12. At the rear backside, we can see a triple camera setup in the top left side of the phone all aligned vertically supported by an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner mounted at the middle and a company logo on the middle bottom of the phone (just like Z1x). It is plastic built but has a good finishing and color. It has no Glass or any type of protection and no water/dust resistant just like Y12 but feels really good and comfortable to hold and is quite pleasing to eyes. For a budget price, the design and display of this phone is really good. Overall the design and display that Vivo offers at this price point is really amazing.
Camera
Y15 features a triple rear camera setup; 13MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle and 2MP depth field sensor all supported by an LED flash. The picture that it produces is exactly the same as Y15 maybe because of its same specifications and arrangements. Coming to the front camera department, Y15 offers a 16MP camera which finally upgrades to what Y12 has. This 16MP front camera rests on a water-drop notch located at the bottom top of the display. It also supports gesture controls, voice controls, and AI beauty mode to enhance the image that it produces. Overall the camera experience on this phone is quite average.
Performance, Software, Storage
To deliver performance, Y15 is equipped with Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 chipset, Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor, PowerVR GE8320 as GPU all supported by a 4GB of RAM. This all runs on Android 9.0 skinned with Funtouch 09 which is again now the same as Y12. Unlike Y12, Y15 only comes in one storage variant which is 4GB/64GB. Overall the performance it delivers is good for the price but lags a bit and slows down during heavy gaming and doing heavy tasks which makes it average.
Battery and connectivity
Just like Y12, Y15 is also powered by a Li-Po 5000mAh battery which promises to last through a day without any problem or worries (Just like Z1 Pro). This 5000mAh battery is quite large for its price and provides a good long-lasting juice, so battery backup wouldn’t be a problem in this device.
As or connectivity, Y15 comes with all necessary and common sensors used in a smartphone and even has a traditional headphone jack, MicroUSB 2.0, USB-On-The-Go and Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.
