LG Tone Plus Free Price in Nepal

LG has been struggling to compete with the likes of Samsung, Apple, Huawei in the smartphone department. Now LG has entered true wireless wearables department by introducing its LG Tone Plus Free, but LG will have to compete with the likes of Mi AirDots Pro 2, Realme Buds Air, FreeBuds 3 and even new Amazfit PowerBuds. Tone Plus Free is available in the US and this month will be available in South Korea. It is priced at USD. 199.99 in the US which means LG Tone Plus Free price in Nepal could be around Rs. 24,000 or above when it arrives in Nepal’s market after India.

Design, Build & Fit

LG Tone Plus Free is Semi-open design making it use silicone tips for fit. Silicone tips are a must if you want to have your ear canal jammed to enhance sound quality and get a great fit. The body of the tone Plus Free is elongated and feels kind of its from way back time. The design doesn’t meet the time. We can see a Tone+ logo placed horizontally and a circle just at its side. This circle acts as a trackpad in this earbud. At the rear side, we can see three dots just below silicone tips which are magnets those help buds to attach in case.

Tone Plus Free comes with IPX4 certification which means it can resist water/dust and sweat. Silicone tips also come in different sizes so you won’t have to worry about the fit. The finishing of these buds is matte-like. The charging case of Tone Plus Free is a UVnano case and has a circular design with rounded edges. At the top, we can see a Tone and a MERIDIAN logo. Buds fit in this case magnetically and this charging case also features Type-C port.

Sound Quality and Features

LG has partnered with MERIDIAN who are known for their High-Resolution audio and also are the leading authority on Digital Signal Processing which provides a microscopic level of control over the audio signal enhancing listening experience in every environment. LG has used Multi-Layer metal in which a composite diaphragm in the speaker produces clarity in high, mid and low ranges whereas another high-strength metal layer creates accurate treble while the plastic layer produces rich bass. The instrumentals and vocals also sound very rich and clear.

One of the main highlights of Tone Plus Free its integrated UV LED light inside the charging case which kills germs and bacteria while charging buds inside the case. The company even claims that the germs and bacteria on buds will be killed anytime you store them in the charging case. This is the perfect true wireless earbuds for germaphobes out there.

The touch controls are normal like other true wireless earbuds. Touch and swipe controls can be used to play/pause music, answer/end calls, next/prev a song and more. It also has in-ear detection, so every time you remove a bud from your ear, your playing music/video will be paused and calls will be cut off. It will resume paused video/music and answer incoming calls after you put it in your ear.

Battery & Connectivity

The bud’s packs 55mAh battery in each of them and can provide up to 6hrs of continuous music playback time which can be further extended up to 27hrs by adding an additional 21hrs of charge through UVnano charging case which packs 410mAh of battery in it. These buds can provide up to 17hrs of continuous talk time with the case. Even if the juice drains you won’t have to worry, you can avail of the fruits of its fast charging capability. Just charge these buds 5mins and gain 1hr of playback and these buds can even charge fully under an hour.

As for connectivity, Tone Plus Free comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and has fast pairing support. It also features seamless connectivity that can connect to paired devices automatically when the case is opened. To deliver a much clearer call experience, Tone Plus Free comes with Dual MEMS microphones along with Noise Reduction and Echo cancellation. More additional features can be used via the LG Tone & Talk App. Tone Plus Free only supports devices with Android 5.0 and above or iOS 10.0 and above.

LG Tone Plus Free is already available in the US and is about to launch in South Korea within this month. In the US the price is set at USD. 199.99 which means LG Tone Plus Free price in Nepal could be around Rs. 24,000 or above when it arrives in Nepal’s market after India. It comes in two color variants; White and Black which both have a matte-like finish.
