Amazfit PowerBuds to launch in Feb 2020 with heart rate sensor built-in

Amazfit is a wearable product producing company known for the quality of products they deliver with a satisfying price tag. Amazfit has unveiled its new true wireless earbuds “Amazfit PowerBuds” at CES 2020, Las Vegas which is packed with features like Heart rate monitoring and great battery backup. The company has revealed its price tag that will have when it will launch in the month of February 2020. The price is set at USD 99.90 which is almost INR. 7000 in India. So, after it arrives in India and then finds its way to Nepal, Amazfit PowerBuds price in Nepal could be almost around Rs. 13,000.

Design, Build & Fit

Amazfit PowerBuds has an in-ear design and comes with 4 different sizes of silicone tips that support in jamming your ear canal for better sound quality and to give a better fit which wouldn’t let buds fall from your ears. Neither like Airpods Pro, Enco Free or nor like Mi Dots, but the design of PowerBuds is completely unique and for some, it may seem awkward. It feels like two Buds have been attached to one because of its two bulky bodies attached to each other. Even if the design feels awkward the comfort and fit these buds provide are really wowing.

To add more comfort ad fit, Amazfit provides extra Magnetic Sport Ear Hooks which you attach to your PowerBuds and make it ready for intense workout sessions. These Ear Hooks doesn’t let the PowerBuds slip or fall from your ears. When not needed, you can just put these hooks in your charging case. These PowerBuds also have IP55 Water/Dust/Sweat resistant which means you won’t have to worry about rain, dust, and sweat.

Coming to the design of the charging case now, the charging is in rectangular shape with curved and rounded edges that feel super smooth and nice to hold ad is fully magnetic. It can simply fit in your pocket and is super lightweight. A LED indicator is placed at the bottom, a company logo can be seen on the top and a Type-C port for charging is also fitted into it. Inside, The Ear Hooks are placed at the top part and Buds are to be placed at the rear side just like other Buds.

Sound Quality and Features

The PowerBuds are composed of Composite Diaphragm that delivers HD sound which helps to make our exercise immersive and dynamic. It also has Motion Beat Mode when activated enhances bass to make our exercise much dynamic by making the sound much more clear, powerful and bass packed. Thru Mode is also integrated into it when activated enhances the ambient sound which lets you hear traffic conditions and other important sounds when you are exercising or running outdoors.

PowerBuds support touch controls that can play/pause or next/previous playing music, answer/hang calls, turn on or off Thru Mode, or even activate installed voice assistants through taps or swipes. The best part is, you can customize these tap and swipe touch controls according to your wish and desire.

One of the main highlights of these Buds is that they come with a PPG Heart rate sensor that monitors your heart rate continuously through your exercise or workout sessions and keeps you informed about your workout status and information. These buds even send voice notification in Real-Time to you when your heart rate becomes high so that you can have a safer workout session.

Battery and Connectivity

PowerBuds pack 55mAh battery in each and deliver 8hrs of continuous usage on a single charge and that’s with heart rate monitoring turned on. That’s not it, you can get another additional 16hrs of juice with the charging case which packs 450mAh of battery. That about 24hrs of juice sounds amazing right. Even if the juice drains, you can refill the juice via Type-C connector and 15min of charge provides 3 hours of battery life.

PowerBuds also comes with great connectivity features one of them is seamless connectivity, after pairing, PowerBuds can automatically connect to paired devices without doing anything. It also has in-ear detection which can pause music or cancel/end calls when one bud is taken out of the ear and can play music or answer calls when buds put into the ear. Integrated ENC dual-microphone noise reduction technology helps PowerBuds to receive clear, effective and inhibit ambient sounds while reducing noise which results in making calls clearer and better.

PowerBuds are integrated with Bluetooth 5.0 and Bluetooth Low Energy for connecting and pairing to devices. PowerBuds are only compatible with devices having Android 5.0 Lollipop and above or iOS 10.0 and above.

Amazfit PowerBuds Price in Nepal

Amazfit PowerBuds are about to launch in Feb 2020 with a price tag of USD. 99.90 which is almost INR. 7000 in India. It has a high chance of coming to India because Amazfit is quite popular in India. It offers 3 color variants; White with black texture, White with red texture and Balck with red texture. Only Black with red texture will come with a black charging case and the other two will have white charging cases.

After it arrives in India, we hope it finds a way to enter Nepal’s market. Amazfit PowerBuds price in Nepal could be around Rs. 13,000 if launched in Nepal. But it may also happen like Asus ROG Phone II, which was launched in India but never arrived in Nepal. Let’s keep calm and hope for the best.
