Oppo is a brand that has been a growing up to be a favorite brand among quite a few people in the world. After the success of Oppo Reno 10X, Oppo has come up with yet another series “Oppo Reno 2 series”. The Reno 2 is expected to have an upgraded quad-camera, shark-fin selfie camera with special emphasis on its ultra-dark camera mode and an astounding 20X zoom. Oppo Reno 2: Design, Display & Performance
The display of Oppo Reno 2 is rumored to be a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED display. The display will have a slightly curved screen which will help make the smartphone look like a premium flagship phone. The phone also will consist of a full glass-body finish with a color gradient of either Ocean Green or Jet Black.
The phone will house an octa-core Snapdragon 730G chipset clocked at 2.2GHz processor, paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Subsequently, the device should perform greatly in the gaming category, such as PUBG and Freefire should run without any frame rate drops in medium to high settings.
The Reno 2 is rumored to have new 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging and 5G connectivity support.
Oppo Reno 2: Quad-Cam & Shark-fin Camera
The rear camera on the phone is center-aligned quad-camera setup of 48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors. On the front, the Reno 2 rocks a shark-fin designed 16MP selfie camera. Additionally, Oppo has teased in an official twitter post that the cameras will boast an Ultra Dark Mode which will be able to take an ultra-clear shot at night and low-light conditions. Besides, they also hinted, the device will be capable of taking an ultra-smooth video with Ultra Steady Mode feature.
One of the major changes in the camera would be 20x powerful zooming capability rather than its predecessor’s 10x zoom.

As per recent leaks, the OPPO Reno 2 series will have three smartphones— Reno 2, Reno 2Z, and Reno 2F. Among them, Reno 2F will be the most affordable one while the Reno 2 will be the premium one. Hinting the Reno 2Z will be semi-priced in the Reno 2 series.
The launch date for Oppo Reno 2 has been set in India for August 28th just one day ahead of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 8 Pro, it will certainly be interesting to watch how they stack on one another.
