Samsung Galaxy A70s with 64MP triple camera, 32MP Front Camera, and Super AMOLED display goes official

Samsung has surprised us with many mid-range and budget phones which offered more features than its price tag. This time Samsung has introduced a new mid-range phone with its new 64MP camera sensor in triple rear camera setup. This mid-range phone from Samsung comes with a Super AMOLED display with a water-drop notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Samsung calls this display Infinity-U display. Samsung Galaxy A70s has many features, as well as some, are ignored. Samsung Galaxy A70s has a lot of specifications that match the Samsung Galaxy A70. Samsung Galaxy A70s price in Nepal will be around NRS. 48,000 to 50,000 for 6GB/128 GB variant and NRS. 52,000 to 55,000 for 8GB/128GB variant.

Display and Design

Samsung Galaxy A70s comes with a Super AMOLED display that holds an in-display fingerprint sensor water-drop notch that houses its front camera sensor used for shooting selfies. The resolution of the Super AMOLED display is 1080×2400 Pixels with 20:9 of aspect ratio. This Super AMOLED display is very rich in color, vibrant and gives an overall good experience while watching videos or gaming.

Talking about the design, Galaxy A70s has an aluminum body layered with Corning Gorilla Glass both at the front and back which gives it a glossy and shiny look. The Galaxy A70s is very appealing to the eyes. The smartphone doesn’t provide a Dust or Water-resistant feature even though it has an aluminum body. Overall the design and body of Samsung Galaxy A70s looks premium and feels really good while holding.

Camera 

Samsung has integrated its all-new 64MP camera sensor (similar to Realme XT) in a triple rear camera setup in this mid-range phone. The triple camera setup features a 64MP, f/1.8 main camera sensor, 8MP, f/2.2 ultra-wide senor and 5MP, f/2.2 depth field senor all supported by an LED flash which is a perfect combination for a triple camera setup. The image quality this setup provides is very crisp, well balanced, balanced contrast and very good color graded. This setup can also record videos in 4K at 30fps and in 1080p at 240fps which is more than enough for recording or vlogging.

As for the front camera, Samsung has housed a 32MP camera in its water-drop notch. The images that this camera produces are very good and balanced. Overall Samsung Galaxy A70s provides a very good camera performance as always.

Performance and Storage

To deliver performance, Samsung Galaxy A70s is powered with Snapdragon 675 and 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which is supported by 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Adreno 612 is there to take care of the gaming and high graphics work. This combination can perform really well and can also handle high graphics gaming. All this runs on Samsung’s One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie which is user-friendly and enriched with features that give the user a good experience. Combining this good performance with a really good Super AMOLED display gives overall a really good experience.

For storage, Samsung Galaxy A70s is available in two storage variants; 128GB/6GB RAM and 128GB/8GB RAM which can be further extended up to 1TB via microSD card slot. So there is no problem when it comes to storage and memory.

Battery and Connectivity

Samsung Galaxy A70s has a 4500mAh Li-Po battery which powers all hardware and electronic components. The battery of A70s is also 25W Fast charging supportive which is really good to have in a mid-range segment. This battery’s juice can last through a day without any problem and delivers a good power backup.

The A70s will feature a traditional headphone jack. It has all the necessary and common sensors like accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass ANT+ along with microSD card slot and Dual SIM tray. It also has a Type-C port which is common to have right now.
