Vivo has impressed many of its consumers through its sleek design and good color finishes. Keeping these things in mind Vivo has again launched another phone named IQoo Neo 855 which is a budget mid-range phone that offers great features at a great price. Vivo iQoo Neo 855 price in Nepal could start from Rs.33,000 as per our speculations.

Display and Design
Vivo iQoo Neo 855 comes with a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED HDR10 display with a resolution of 1080×2340. This display is very bright, vibrant and colorful. This display also houses a tear-drop notch where its front camera rests and an in-display fingerprint sensor but the display doesn’t have any type of glass protection. This display is very good for the price and can give a really nice experience while gaming, watching videos or doing any other tasks.

Vivo iQoo Neo 855 has a complete plastic body and a plastic frame, we can’t ask for more in a budget-midrange phone though. It doesn’t have any type of glass protection at the back as well. We can also find a triple rear camera setup at the back all aligned vertically at the top left corner of the device supported by an LED flash. The back has a glossy and shiny finish even though it has no glass protection. This phone also has a headphone jack port and a Type-C 1.0 reversible connector.
Camera
Vivo iQoo neo 855 has a triple rear camera setup at the back; 12MP main sensor, 8MP wide-angle lens and 2MP depth field sensor all supported by an LED flash. The main sensor is only 12MP so we get an average camera performance from this device. This triple rear camera setup can also record videos in 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30fs. It’s confusing how it can’t record 1080p at 60fps but record 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30fps at the same fps.

As for the front camera department, we get a 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 which is quite good to have in a budget mid-range phone (just like Vivo Y15). This sensor rests on the tear-drop notch located at the bottom top of the display. This sensor produces a quite good image and well-balanced pictures. We can’t ask for more. This sensor can also record videos in 1080p at 30fps.
Performance, Software, Storage
To deliver performance, Vivo iQoo Neo 855 comes with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, Octa-core processor, Adreno 640 as GPU which are supported by 6GB of RAM up to 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 9.0 Pie skinned with Vivo’s own UI Funtouch 9. Funtouch 9 really still needs a lot of work. The icons, the way they arrange settings are still not appreciated by its consumers. As for storage options, Vivo iQoo Neo 855 offers 4 storage variants; 6GB/64GB (UFS2.1), 6GB/128GB (UFS3.0), 8GB/128GB (UFS3.0) and 8GB/256GB RAM (UFS3.0). The power of Snapdragon 855, octa-core processor and Adreno 640 GPU makes Vivo iQoo Neo 855 a good performer. It can handle gaming, heavy tasks, and multitasking easily. The performance that Vivo iQoo Neo 855 delivers in a budget mid-range phone is really impressive.
Battery and connectivity
Vivo iQoo neo 855 packs a Non-removable Li-Po 4500mAh battery (similar to Z1x)which is really impressive to have in a budget mid-range smartphone. This battery also supports 33W Fast battery charging which is really impressive. This battery can provide juice throughout the whole day without any problem in normal use and may struggle a bit while heavy gaming but can we charged again really fast with 33W Fast Charging Support and make it ready to go again.
As for connectivity, Vivo iQoo Neo 855 comes with all the common sensors found in a smartphone, a headphone jack port, in-display fingerprint sensor, type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go and Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.
