
Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun just revealed at the ‘2019 World 5G Convention’ that, the company is building a massive 5G factory. This work is still in progress. The Factory is said to be highly productive. During his speech, Lei Jun also stated that the 5G Factory will have the ability to manufacture 1 million smartphones within a month. Yes, you read that right, that’s 1 million smartphones in a month, [more than 33,333 smartphones in single day]. That is just overwhelming.
In Beijing Economic and Technical Development Zone, Xiaomi 5G factory currently being operated. The factory is said to have an immense 5G network inside. With the help of huge automated production lines and big data, the company will be resulting 60% more output than the traditional factories. The construction of the 5G factory will be completed by December 2019.

Xiaomi will roll out at least ten 5G smartphones in 2020. With the release of the concept phone Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, Xiaomi has already showcased its capability. Not only that Xiaomi also gave us Xiaomi Mi Note 10: The world’s first 108 MP Penta camera setup and now they are building a 5G factory. Xiaomi is planning to be on the top of the smartphone game in 2020. Let’s wait and see what more Xiaomi has in the upcoming year. It’d be interesting to see what new trick they will be pulling out of their box next year.
