Redmi Note 8 flaunts its 6.3-inches IPS LCD display having a 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. It has an 81.7% screen-to-body ratio. Right off bat, the eye-catching feature of this device is the protection of Gorilla Glass 5 on both the front and back of the device which is very rare to find on the mid-range devices. It has a near bezel-less display. On the front, there is a waterdrop notch that confines the selfie camera. The rear-mounted fingerprint sensor can also be found. Both the power button and the volume keys are allocated on the right edge. The 3.55mm audio jack and USB Type-C charging port are placed on the bottom edge.
