Redmi officially announces two new 5G mid-range premiums, Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G

Redmi (Xiaomi’s sub-brand) released its three mid-range premiums together— Redmi 10X 4G, Redmi 10X 5G, and Redmi 10X Pro 5G. Redmi 10X 5G and 10X Pro 5G are the two impressive 5G flagship-level entries. These two devices are packed with noteworthy features, great camera specs, fast charging, and many more. Recently Xiaomi recently dethroned Samsung to claim the #1 smartphone brand position in Nepal. So, it will be interesting to see when these make their way to the Nepali market. The Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G price in Nepal is expected to be Rs 27,200 and Xiaomi Redmi 10X Pro 5G price in Nepal to be Rs 39,086.

Design and Display

Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G houses 6.57-inch AMOLED, HDR10+ display having 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has an approximately 83.7% screen-to-body ratio with an aspect ratio of 20:9. As per Xiaomi, this device has 600nits of max brightness.

The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 plus on the back as well. Looking at the device aesthetics, we have waterdrop notch on the top and slightly visible chin. Both power buttons and volume rockers are placed on the right of the device. For the fingerprint, we have an under-display optical sensor. Surprisingly this device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

48MP Triple Rear Camera Setup

On the camera department, Redmi 10X 5G house four camera lenses. For the selfie camera, we have 16MP (wide) lenses. It is confined by the waterdrop notch. With the 16MP selfie, you can shoot videos 1080p@30fps.

For the rear, we have a triple camera setup. This consists of 48MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (depth) lenses. Sadly the macro camera lens missing here. These lenses are placed in a similar squares box that of Redmi 10X 4G. But instead of a macro lens, we have an LED flash. With the 48MP triple rear camera setup, you can shoot videos 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps, 720p@960fps.

Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G has good internals. We have an octa-core CPU coupled with MediaTek MT6875 Dimensity 820 5G (7nm). For the GPU we have Mali-G57 MC5. This device operates on Android 10 alongside MIUI 11.

Redmi 10X 5G comes in four different storage variants, 6/64GB, 6/128GB, 8/128GB and 8/256GB. You don’t worry about running out of internal storage as it is expandable using microSDXC. It is fueled by a 4520mAh battery. This is less than that of Redmi 10X 4G. However, it supports 22.5-watt fast charging. For the charging port, we have USB Type-C. Other features like accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and many more are available.

Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G has a couple of changes here and there on comparing with Redmi 10X 4G. It has 7nm chipset, available in four storage variants, triple rear camera setup, 22.5-watt fast charging, and many more packed under the hood. Blue, Gold, and Pink/Blue are the available color variants.

This device will be available for purchase from June. The Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G price in the Chinese market is 1599 yuan for 6/64GB, 1799 yuan for 6/128GB, 2099 yuan for 8/128GB, and 2399 yuan for 8/256GB.

As per our speculation, the Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G price in Nepal could be Rs 27,200 for 6/64GB, Rs 30,500 for 6/128GB, Rs 35,600 for 8/128GB and Rs 40,800 for 8/256GB. For the rear, we have a quad camera setup. This consists of 48MP (wide) + 8MP (telephoto) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 5MP (macro) lenses. Instead of a depth camera lens, we have a telephoto lens. These lenses are placed in a similar squares box that of Redmi 10X 4G. Beneath the quad lens lies an LED flash. With the 48MP quad rear camera setup, you can shoot videos 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps, 720p@960fps.
