As the days are passing by, numerous smartphone brands are announcing their devices. Honor, one of the notable players in the game, has announced a couple of mid-range devices on this lockdown period, Honor announced Honor Play 4T, Honor Play 4T Pro and Honor 30S. Now, Honor is expanding Honor 30 series, Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro as the latest flagship from Honor. Alongside these two flagships, Honor also announced its high-end flagship, Honor 30 Pro+. The feature and specifications of this device on the paper look promising. It is expected to hit the market by the end of April. The expected price of Honor 30 Pro Plus is Rs 95,000 in Nepal.
Design and Display
Honor 30 Pro+ flaunts 6.57-inch OLED display having 1080 x 2340 pixels. It has a 90Hz screen refresh rate. The 30 Pro+ has approximately 89.8% screen-to-body ratio and has a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. With a bezel-less display upfront, it has a punch-hole cutout similar to that of Honor 30 Pro and has curved edges as well.
The bezel-less curved display with punch-hole cutout looks appealing. Talking about the device aesthetics both the power button and the volume rockers are placed on the right edge of the device. It has a glass body bounded by an aluminum frame. No surprise that this flagship does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. For the fingerprint sensor, we have an under-display optical sensor.
50MP Quad Rear Camera
For the camera department, if we combine Honor 30 and 30 Pro we get Honor 30 Pro+. This device has a similar camera configuration to that of 30 Pro. For the selfie camera, there are dual lenses of 32MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide). The dual-lens is confined by the punch-hole cut on the top-left corner. With the selfie camera, you can shoot videos 2160p, 1080p with gyro-EIS.
The Honor 30 series has a similar rear camera configuration. All of them flaunt the quad-camera setup aligned in a rectangular setup. Only the numbers are changed here and there. Honor 30 Pro + has quad camera setup of 50MP (wide) + Periscope 8MP (telephoto) + 16MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (depth). The 8MP periscope lens comes with 5X optical zoom. With these lenses you can shoot videos 2160p@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60fps, 1080p@1920fps; gyro-EIS.
