The outbreak of Coronavirus is causing a lot of problems. Thousands of people have already lost their lives. The tremors of coronavirus have affected the business world also. Not so long ago numerous companies backed out from the Mobile World Congress 2020 and later canceled. Previously Samsung has to close its factory in Gumi, South Korea. And now, LG has temporarily shut down its screen factory in Gumi. The LG factory is close to Daegu where most of the coronavirus cased in South Korean is seen.

As per the reports, LG will be closing the factory this weekend. This will directly affect Apple as LG Innotek is the iPhone camera module supplier for Apple. Whether LG will reopen the factory on Tuesday is still uncertain. LG Innotek is set to supply camera modules for the upcoming flagship from Apple iPhone 12. If the factory does not reopen at time, this will cause a major problem for Apple. On the current scenario Tim Cook, CEO of Apple has stated,

It feels to me that China is getting the coronavirus under control. I mean, you look at the numbers, they’re coming down day by day by day. And so, I’m very optimistic there”.

As per the speculation, Apple will be hosting their event at the end of this march. It is expected that Apple will launch iPhone 9, wireless charging pad, high-end headphones, and possibly new MacBooks with updated scissor-switch keyboards. We hope this will take place successfully without any problems of coronavirus.

Both Samsung and LG Innotek are affected by a coronavirus in South Korea. This will definitely have a huge impact on the respective companies and their production. Coronavirus is spreading throughout the world at such a pace. It is causing a global epidemic.
