Realme had been launching phone after phones in 2019 and the company doesn’t seem to slow down even in 2020. Realme always targets the mid-range segment and tries to bring as much high-end specs as it can at a minimum price. This time around the company has launched a 5G supportable phone in a mid-range segment on January 2020 which they call “Relame X50 5G”. Display, Design, and Build

Realme X50 5G has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD 120GHz display with a resolution of 1080x2400p. This display could feature punch-hole for dual front camera setup and Gorilla Glass 5 layer as protection.

Realme X50 5G has a plastic-built body with Gorilla Glass 5 layered at the back and weighs about 202g. It has volume rockers at the left edge and a power button at the right edge in which fingerprint is integrated into it. The bezels around the display are also very thin. At the back, the quad-camera setup is featured, all aligned vertically at the top left corner of the phone supported by an LED flash. At the bottom left corner, the company logo is placed vertically. The phone also features Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Camera

Realme X50 5G features Quad rear cameras and a dual-front camera. The Quad camera setup will feature a 64MP main sensor along with another 8MP ultra-wide sensor, 12MP telephoto sensor, and 2MP macro sensor. This setup can also record videos in 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30/60fps.

As for the front camera, Realme X50 5G is about to sport 16MP main sensor along with another 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Both both camera setup feels very good to have in a mid-range phone. This setup can record videos in 1080p at 30fps.

Performance, Software, Battery

Realme X50 5G equips Octa-core processor, Snapdragon 765G SoC which runs at 2.4GHz clock speed, Adreno 620 as GPU which all runs on the latest Android 10 skinned with ColorOS 7. The company is set to provide buyers with good RAM and storage option variants; 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM. As for internal storage options, 8GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB variant and 12GB/256GB variant options will be provided by the company.

As for the battery, Realme X50 5G packs a 4,200mAh battery with support to 30W Fast battery charging VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge. So yeah even if the juice drains on this phone, you can refill the juice pretty fast.

Realme X50 5G Price in Nepal could be around Rs. 40,000 for 8GB/128GB variant and Rs. 45,000 for 8GB/256GB variant as per our speculation after it launches in Nepal. The rumored and speculated price of 6GB/64GB variant is still unknown which means that the starting price of this phone which will be much less. Realme X50 5G will be available in 4 colors as per rumors; Black, Purple, Blue, Gold.
